We had a wonderful day in Oslo, where many delighted customers joined the Christmas demo with Elin and Eilin in Nordiq’s showroom. The day was filled with professional insight, creative craftsmanship and inspiration for the season’s decorations.
Elin and Eilin generously shared their experience and showed how flower shops can stand out with tall, expressive arrangements and bouquets – designs that have almost disappeared from today’s retail scene, yet are both impactful and cost-effective in times of high flower prices.
They also presented new ideas for grave decorations – a fresh alternative to the classic wreaths found everywhere. And most importantly: they encouraged everyone to “take back the craft” – to put craftsmanship in focus and offer something unique that stands out from what can be found in supermarkets. That’s the key to strengthening the shop’s position.
The demo offered a good balance between commercial floristry and floral design for larger arrangements and participants received practical techniques and tips explained clearly and inspiringly.
Thanks to everyone who joined – and to Elin and Eilin for a day full of creativity and pride in the craft!
